I cant STAND my sister inlaw!!!!

What should I do? She is always throwing indirect comments at me & she thinks that everyone is supposed to worship her. I feel terrible because sometimes she is nice but then other times she turns into a bitch for no reason over petty things!!! My boyfriend cant stand her either its actually his brothers wife. But then when I have a problem with her and try to tell him about it he start arguing with me!!! so freaking frustrating !!!

As hard as it may be, try your hardest to block her out and ask your bf if he could please be more supportive! If she is abusive towards you, I would skip any contact with her.

Personally keep your calm then the next time she does that nonsense ask her how old she is then tell her would you act your age! Walk away and let it go!

I'd say that when she says something kind of nasty that's directed toward you, kill her with kindness. Say something really nice to her. You know that it's sarcastic, but she may not get it.

So true Jennifer! LOL That is the best way to go. For it keeps your integrity intact. Hugs

sistergirl August 10th, 2011 11:15 AM

Jen, would you give an example?

StacyH. August 11th, 2011 04:33 AM

Sometimes it is so hard to walk away and let it go when you know it will just keep happening over and over and over again. sometimes you just have to know when to stay away

Wolf_angel August 11th, 2011 11:19 AM

Thus you are ending the cycle of hurt done to yourself. Hugs

And as an example . . . . if she would give you a negative comment about what you're wearing, even though you know she's wrong, reply "You are SOOOO right! I'll have to work on my wardrobe." I think that it could be fun for you because you'll probably confuse the hell out of her!

Wolf_angel August 12th, 2011 08:42 AM

LOL Yeppers Exactly! LOL Hugs

Yes indeed!

Tis a choice...what you will allow others to do to you thus you accept whatever they do and etc to you. However if it becomes like a poison to yourself, then tis time to take it away and put limits on it. You choose what will affect yourself and thus your life. Hence you have control over it. Personally I do this to many some who dont have a clue to this. Thus they are not able to hurt me anymore. Which in turn allows me to move forward onto other things for myself. If they are blessed to be a part of that inner circle they will rejoice and thus be blessed as well. If they arent well tis on them. Twas their choices and thusly helped me make my own. Those like IRISH on here always wants the best for us. Even if she has to smack ya a bit on the noggin to get your attention. She does it with love understanding and wanting the best for you. Hope this helps! ((((IRISH))) Thank you

thanks girls! I luv you all very muchh!!! Im just being very nice too her..even though i know shes always trying to compete with me. Even when I go to do my hair or buy a new outfit shes always trying too " one up " me. Example: One day I was looking at louis vuitton bags online and I seen one that i fell inlove with. So then she noticed what I was looking at and said " oh maybe ( BFs name) will buy it for your birthday" ...a few weeks later she came in the house sporting the bag that i wanted I was so angryyyyy because she knew I really wanted that bag..

sistergirl August 16th, 2011 02:53 AM

I don't think her having that bag should concern you. I understand you think she is in compettition with you but be taller than her and accept the fact that she is who she is and that it really doesn't matter who has what first. How old are you and your SIL?
