I also think homemade gifts mean more because they show that thought and effort went into the gift instead of just buying something outright. My craft of choice is sewing, and I usually try to take the young ones aside and help them sew something for their parents...

If you want to make the homemade holiday gift then make a lovely gardening gift for your garden. The antique ornaments are the most popular ornaments in these days. These ornaments are made with different types of material. You can make these garden ornaments at your home.

I love making my friends jewelry, just doing something more personal is fun and you get more fun out of it!

So true and personally I consider a home made gift more valuable than one store bought. Unless its from my grandchildren! LOL

If you want to give the gift to your friend then i think gardening gifts are so good. Garden gifts are very unique always make surrounding environment fresh.. You can purchase these from local market or the online stores.

Making presents for friends and family is so much nicer than buying, especially in the current economy.

The best homemade garden gifts is a garden basket. Ignore to buy it trying to make it at your home. It is a nice garden gift that will be used and you also remember this nice garden gift.

Here is another idea from another website I visit daily. Instead of getting people whatever, get them gift cards from local places. This way we support the economy and place we call home. Just a thought. Have a great day!:)
