Can't get this to format right, but you get the idea...

Hi Tala,

Nice to see you posting here! I do have to say, though, that you've been misinformed about bananas. See the nutritional content below:

NUTRITIVE VALUE OF BANANA per 100 grams

<table BORDER=1 CELLPADDING=2>
<tr bgcolor="ffcc00">
<th valign=top><font size=-1>Protein<br>(gm)</th>
<th valign=top><font size=-1>Carbohydrate (gm)</th>
<th valign=top><font size=-1>Fat<br> (gm)</th>
<th valign=top><font size=-1>Potassium<br>(mg)</th>
<th valign=top><font size=-1>Calcium<br>(mg)</th>
<th valign=top><font size=-1>Minerals<br>(gm)</th>
<th valign=top><font size=-1>Energy<br>(k cal)</th></tr>

<tr>
<td valign=top align=center><font size=-1>1.2</font></td>
<td valign=top align=center><font size=-1>27.2</font></td>
<td valign=top align=center><font size=-1>0.3</font></td>
<td valign=top align=center><font size=-1>88</font></td>
<td valign=top align=center><font size=-1>17</font></td>
<td valign=top align=center><font size=-1>0.8</font></td>
<td valign=top align=center><font size=-1>116</font></td></tr>
</table>

As you can see, minimal fat content. On another site, which lists sodium content of foods, it listed bananas as having 1 mg of sodium, also negligible.

Be sure to post your progress, and anything else you'd like!
