Good for you wolfangel! I know that your decision to keep a distance with your family is that of a difficult and complicated one. But just because we are bound by blood to people does not mean you have to have a relationship with them. Especially if it is toxic to you. This is no light feat and you should be proud of yourself for making YOU and your wellbeing a priority.

I hear you sistergirl. It's tough standing by friends that you feel are making wrong decisions. But part of being a friend is supporting them in their life and knowing it's their life and their decisions to make. The only thing is that if she has asked for your advice and still does nothing to change it, she loses her right to complain to you about it.
