Here's a place to talk about all those feelings being a young mother creates.

Do you mourn your lack of freedom?
Do you rejoice in the smell of baby breath?
Do you miss intimacy with your sweetie?
Do you feel guilty for not feeling 100% thrilled with motherhood?
Do you revel in motherhood and all it entails?

Talk about it here!

Unhappy Understand

Let me just post the questions that hit a nerve and go from there. "Do you mourn your lack of freedom?" YES! It sounds bad but I do so much. Its so hard having a baby espically alone. OK so I have my family and I am 27 and my baby is 2 but that doesn't sound so bad but when you add in work and school full time it leaves less and less time for me that I can't seem to find. Its very hard.

"Do you miss intimacy with your sweetie?" Again yes, its not the same dating now as it was before. I have been with the same person for over a year now but its so different with having my baby around. Very different feeling to put it lightly and complicates our relationship.

"Do you feel guilty for not feeling 100% thrilled with motherhood?" I feel guilty just saying that its hard to have my son and at times I wish I didn't. I couldn't ever give him back (hypothetically) if I could now knowing what I know and having the bond I do with him. BUT before or even right after I had him if I could have the same child again but a few years later I would do it. I don't know that I would now but earlier for sure but since thats not possible I just get through the days and more recently have been learing to enjoy my son more. Its so hard... I just hope somehow it starts getting a little easier..
Thanks....
