Goodness, some ppl are fussy - what's wrong with that? LOL

Let's see, "babycakes" (after Armistead Maupin) was probably the first one I gave my S.O.

<center>After 29 years of marriage, of course we have a few not so nice. Mostly usually used when bordering on making a big mistake... or Fridays..

I married my friend so I am very lucky that we still treat each other as friends. "Key" if I want his attention quick like. And "Derk" if he is really do something that makes me go dah! (dah + jerk) or the D can stand for... well you know...

I call my husband Woody. He calls me Wood or tupi.

Funny story about pet names. My mom and dad have been married 51 years. He never had a pet name for her; according to her he only referred to her as, "Hey". Well, my mentally retarded sister started doing the same thing. When she wanted mom for something she would go look at her and say "Hey..c'm 'ere" Well, Mom got tired of being a nonity, so she told dad not to call her "Hey" anymore because she wouldn't answer to it! The next week he was working in the yard and she was cleaning the kitchen when she heard him hollar "Hey!" She stubbornly ignored him. In a louder voice he yelled "Hey!!" She didn't budge. Finally, my sister came in and was visibly upset and said, "Hey! c'm on!" She said, "I want you to call me MOM!" Dad yelled, "Hey!!!" again and between them mom figured she'd check it out. There in the back yard was daddy with a kitchen rug beating at flames coming from the lawnmower. Mom grabbed the fire extinguisher and ran out handing it to him. Her reply was, "Next time call for Jean!" Later he came into the house with the spent fire extinguisher and set it on the counter. His reply with a grin, "Hey, we need a new fire extinguisher."

Luckily in my family most of us grew out of our pet names as we grew up. Lollie was one sister and Noonie was mine. But Chi-Chi is still called Chi-Chi at 40 something. My dad was Italian and in Italian Chi-Chi is a term of endearment. But in the Spanish language it sometimes means big boobs and well you guessed it she has em. When I was babysitting two little Puerto Rican boys they looked at each other and tittered (no pun intended) when I introduced them to my sister. When their mother came to pick them up I found out what Chi Chi can mean, I had to asked her since they would not tell me.

oh what a great folder! Well my ex hubby called me "George" for years as his term of endearment LOL! Not that it bothered me but HEY Georgette would have been better guess thats why we divorced.

Mr Tiffin calls me "Skippy" because when we first where dating - mainly me coming to his house to watch TV and Etc when it was time for me to go the the ladiesroom I would announce "I need to go home now!" simply because he being a single man DID not clean his bathroom, and he thought it was because lol I was trying to spoil the romantic moments!
