Exclamation Injury to the Medial Meniscus, Left Knee

Has anyone here ever sustained injury to the medial meniscus in the knee, whether relating to cartilage or to the ligaments?

I have yet to find out the results of my x-ray and whether I will need to have an MRI of the knee done, but I have a strong suspicion that this will be the diagnosis, given the clicking, popping, pain, swelling, and locking of the knee joint and the inability to bend it all the way.

I was just wondering if anyone else has been through this and through arthroscopy. Insight into treatment options and what to expect before, during, and after would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance,
Tango
