ah I have always loved Patsy Cline.. I remember as a kid listening to her on dads' old record player and getting in trouble for having it to loud. LOL... Favorite songs of hers is Walking after Midnight.. and Crazy... I think I have all her songs on CD now.. Kids look at me like I am a tard when I listen to them. lol.. Male singer would have to be Alan Jackson.. Midnight in Montgomery.. Like to hear singers sing about the oldies.. LOL

BTW
Toby can come protest at my house any time.. I would have no issue with that

LOL! Daccie, I'm right there with ya!!! He's been protesting for years now. And they've been snubbing him for years now... and...well, he really doesn't need them... but it shows when he's missing from the show! (my opinion anyway!)

I didn't watch them either Irish, but our local radio KYGO played it simultaneously so, I listened while I was downstairs with the bunny. and the kids were upstairs watching some vampire show.

BTW, love Patsy Cline. Started listening to her after friend-hubby and I got togeter (he was a fan). Also, Dixie Chicks. There are a few others I've started listening to over the past few years.

"Bite me" is something I've been known to say periodically, daccie.

I've got to admit that I've grown to appreciate country music to a degree the past few years. I think that it has a lot to do with so many cross-overs...and a lot less "crying in my beer because my wife/husband ran off with my truck and dog and best friend and I miss my dog, friend, and truck" of the old country songs. I really love Randy Travis's song "Forever and Ever."

wow have not heard that song in a long time.. Another good one Vince Gill.. Go Rest High On That Mountain.. ( I think that is the name of it )

Clay Aiken has a version but not as good as Vince's...
Now his Bridge over troubled water, nice version...

I love Josh Turner... but I don't think I know that one?!? Thanks for the heads up!!

I love Keith Urban's "Kiss A Girl"... he's got a cool rock/country vibe, it's awesome.

I think right now the country song that touches me the most is the Alan Jackson's Sissy's Song. I never hear it until just days before my mom's service and wish I had a copy of it to play at the cemetery. It said just what Mom would have said.
