lol I just realized the other thing I don't like about library books. You can't read them when you are soaking in the tub.

By the looks of some of those books, other people don't share your concern!

I have decided that I want to read Judith Thurber's biography of Colette, "Secrets of the Flesh," and Michael Pollan's "The Botany of Desire."

You'd think people would take better care of books that don't belong to them.

I purchased "The Lovely Bones" yesterday and I am half way through it. It makes me sad, angry and chills my soul. Yet, there is humor in this story, which makes me chuckle. It is a story of disbelief among us, yet a sad truth

I have finished "The Lovely Bones" I have to say was entralled through out the story. I also have to say I was angry, because we take this all sometimes so lightly.

I just bought "The Bondwoman's Narrative" and will be reading it when I finish "Cavalier and Clay." It looks intriguing.

(((((Sabra))))) Glad you liked it.

Eternnal Vigilance

Eternal Vigilance is the price of Liberty by Thomas Jefferson

I just finished "Pen Pals" by Olivia Goldsmith, author of " First Wives Club" I purchased this on a whim and thought although entertaining her other works were sort of "fluffy" This is an in your face, look out for yourself, don't let anyone control you regardless of who they are lesson for all women. I liked it very much.
