LOL...well they DID eat at Cakes-R-Us, so that could be it! ;-) I think they have eaten Italian every night and still wanted more. Tod and Kat were going to take them to Carolina BBQ for a more southern sampling, but went for the Italian instead, after my email to them.

(((Moon))) and (((Lou))) thanks! The design was a "retro one". There's a big smiling cake holding hands (and almost lifting) a tub of ice cream. It says "Bring out the cake and ice cream". I must have been thinking of someone whose diet has nothing gnomeish in it.

Moonie, did you get everything finished before flying home? Sorry I missed CC, I was still at work

I got lots finished but not everything I wanted to accomplish. I did finish those "fence" headboards and spray painted a clay sun face, yellow. That will be hung over the fence on the right on our next visit. I painted the bottom of two bar stools (for the passthru from our kitchen to our florida room) white and am going to paint nautical scenes on the seats...next time! <g> ((((myst)))) your design sounds cool!

(((Lou))) "our" kids (not mine<g>) are on their way to see the home of Fiestaware today. This is what Trixie told me. Vic told me about a large bug they had to kill in their hotel last night. LOL

In your role as ChefMoon, you may want to know that the FDA has declared the incredible, edible egg inedible. As of September, no more sunnyside-up, no more over-easy. Eggs must be cooked thoroughly--right to that rubbery, green-lined eggness. In every one thousand eggs, it seems, there is one that contains salmonella. I hope I spelled that correctly. I plan to continue to lick batter from the mixer blade.

{{{{{Moon}}}}} I've been reading along, if not posting - oops. Your summer sounds like a whirlwind so far! <p>
Ozzy is happily munching away on his weekly treat of a kitty vitamin crushed up in a can of Gourmet Chicken Fancy Feast - the rest of the time he gets Science Diet Hairball Light (dry).<p>
It's finally summer here - pretty hot during the day, but still cool at night. It's been a mild spring, thank goodness, especially with the power hassles.<p>
