CA125 Test

YAY got the results for the CA125 blood test. I'm in 'normal range'. YAY YAY!

Wednesday see my Cardio Doctor to get okay from him for surgery. Friday do a visit to my regular doctor (will get numbers then of test) and I guess the surgery date to take out the ovary with the mass in it.

I'm feel a bit more relieved. I'm not even going to think false positive false negative!

Although now MrTiff is having coping problems LOL I guess he doesn't want to loose his cook and "make everything run smoothly cabanna girl".

He thought it was like having tonsils taken out...didn't quite get this is major surgery to have all taken out and that I won't feel like doing stuff for a few weeks and won't be able to do for at least 6 weeks. (no lifting, pulling, carrying heavy objects, and etc) LOL.

Men are rather dense sometimes. It took a friend of ours (who is going thru breast cancer herself to get him to understand this isnt so minor LOL)

Surgery Date is Set

Well my surgery is this coming Wednesday June 4th at 4:00pm.

I'm scared but I'm sure everything will be fine...I don't like the thought still of all my parts being taken out I don't know how to get pass this. It truly upsets me. But all my medical folks are like "it needs to come out and it will be best" ya its not their parts.

I'm calling my mother tonite to tell her, I haven't said anything prior cause I didn't want her worrying and going Motherly on me, she can be a real pain at times, You all know how mothers can be. LOL.

This really puts a crimp in my summer. Nothing like being able to do NOTHING for 6weeks.

((((((((((( Tiffin ))))))))))))))).
My good thoughts, prayers, and well wishes heading your way. After the 6 weeks are over, things will begin to go better. Tell Mr Tiff patience please.

PLEASE give yourself those six weeks. Did you know even sweeping can pull the muscles. So make sure you're the one being pampered during that time. Even when you're feeling better during that 6 weeks... DON"T do the lifting , etc. Give your body that time to heal, both inside and out.

Of course your mom is going to worry.. it's a Mother's Job. Doesn't matter how old or young the kids are. They are the kids always.

So pleased that the CA125 test came back with good results. That has got to help you feel better.

Keep us posted we care ((((((((((((( Tiff )))))))))).

I am beginning to truly hate doctors

They are doing a total abdominal hysterectomy; not the laporoscopally he mentioned last visit. I am beyond mad. I totally freaked out on this cheerful (NOT) news.

So my recovery is even longer and much harder. Upwards to 3 months. (I'm spitting nails now)

Oh course release form also stated possible omentectomy and lymphadenectomy (more parts that might get removed if cancer is found and he said "Well thats in case when we do get in and find cancer") In hospital until Saturday.

I want to write cuss words all across the space here thats how upset I am. Steam is coming outta of ears.

I stopped at Library on way home and did get 6 books to get me thru a few days.

Oh ya I get to drink that stuff they give you to clean out your insides tomorrow nite. I'll be up all nite with running to the bathroom. This just might make me call the doctor and SAY : FU I'm not doing this surgery!

((((((((( Tiffin )))))))))))))) gentle hugs. If they are not doing the laproscopic surgery why that crappy drink ?? Yuck!!! Dr's for the most part know their businnes. Most are missing out on the finesse of dealing with people's emotions.

Don't blame you for seething @ the pompous arse. If you knew were going to have that "crappy" drink, you could have started preparing for it by cutting down food intake and drinking lots of liquiids for a few days before. That would have helped with the cleaning out process. ( good to note that if you are going for a colonoscopy too it saves on the stomach issues and the running back and forth )

Wishing you the best (((((((((( Tiffin )))))))))))))))). Write down all those things you want to call him now. Get it out. It's ok to let those emotions out. You need to do that. It will help get though the process. My candle will be lit for you, and prayers in that direction 2.

Thanks for all your prayers!

I am home. No cancer! I'm sore as heck! But oh so happier! Everything was removed and I got they call "bikini cut". All I want to do to sleep now and get over the pain. I see why 6 weeks of nothing. Even just sitting up in the bed brings tears to one's eyes.

Mass was a complex adnexal mass Size of a Manderin Orange inside the ovary.

thanks again for all the good wishes from everyone.

Oh ((((((((( Tiffin ))))))))))))) wonderful news. Suggestion if I may. When you feel the urge to cough.. hold a pillow against your stomach. It really does help.

remember if when you're feeling better before the 6 weeks are up, don't overdo.. even sweeping the floor can pull and you can end up doing some damage. So go slow.

then with the bikini cut go buy a bikini. gentle hugs. Hope you get pampered.
