Things in the Past he has not talked about

So I found out that my boyfriend had a girlfriend who passed away and he has never shared this with me and I am not sure how I should feel about it. He does not know I know this about him, should I ask him about it?

first off, welcome to wow. If he had a girlfriend who died, how long ago was it? Maybe he hasn't told you because it is too painful to him to talk about it. The next is who told you? Can you trust the source? tell him you found out and let him know you"re there to talk about if he'd like to.

Wondering how long you have been dating your boyfriend. Maybe he wasn't ready to share that info. HOw long ago was the loss? Perhaps it hurts him to think about it, he may need time.
If it was awhile ago & you 2 have gotten really serious then it is something to be discussed, if you think it will affect your relationship. As crazymomma asks how well do you know & trust the source who gave you the info? Is is someone who is looking out for you, or someone who is jealous of your relationship?

Welcome to WOW. Good luck.
