Hi (((roo)))! My nest is no longer empty.

My kitchen is cluttered with hand carved masks, abalone shells, unique rocks, cow bone pendants, maracas, maps, postcards, AND a moonstone pendant for ME!

Patrick just went to bed after talking ALL day about his adventures. Jane is in the 9th hour of her afternoon nap.

(((((FullHouseMoon))))) You could make yourself a nice pitcher of iced tea, get a good insulated glass, and hustle out to the barn for a few hours of quiet drawing. Just yesterday, I received the invite to my niece's graduation on June 17. Time's passing. LOL!

um....thanks for that "time's passing" remark. (((Lou)))

that didn't make me "anxious" at ALL!

They leave tomorrow for RI for a week. I'll get busy when I'm alone and bored again.

(((((AnxiousMoon)))))

Now that summer vacation has begun, I will get into the "oh well, there's lots of time" mode, and put off making new lessons for fall classes. I should do some now while I am still in the classroom mindset. But heck. There's time, right? LOLOLOL

((((Moonie)))) Good morning! Have Patrick & Jane left yet? Wow! That Jane really knows how to nap!

Today looks like another beautiful day, I wish Sue didn't have to work today. We bought tennis rackets yesterday, and played a little last night. It would be nice to play before she has to leave for work. Our pool is open, but the treatment has to go through it for several more days before we can swim in it. Sadly, Harley doesn't understand that, and keeps trying to jump in.

Dad's taking them to the airport as I type (((mysterre))). I don't think they were REAL excited about getting back on a plane so soon. Their sleep patterns are so messed up. Jane's whole family is waiting to see the ring though!

Hi again (((((mysterre))))) Tennis.

Back when I was with the one-armed man aka Bailey, we played tennis in local tournaments, and I loved it. I was a power smasher who took deep satisfaction in the whomp of a ball against the sweet spot of a racket. TheMan, however, preferred more adventursome (read: death-defying) sports.

Morning (((((Moonbeam))))) Can you describe that ring a bit more specifically? Better yet, can you draw it? <G>

A solitaire! How elegant! Around here, I've noticed that women are opting for colored gems--wide bands, large ruby or emerald or sapphire (often cabachon) bezel set, small diamonds on either side. I admire the bulk. My engagement ring was a solitaire diamond. :-)

Lovely drawing (((((Moon)))))

((((Moon)))) you are such an artiste! I can picture the ring now

(((Lou))) It was windy today, which made tennis playing intersting. I have previously non existent muscles that are sore. Your description of the sound of a tennis ball on racket made me laugh...yesterday and today, I went to hit the ball, only to discover it in the neck. LOL
