I'll have to check that site out. It has been so long since I have dated that I wouldn't know how to if I had to. Not that I want to!!! LOL! I am very content and extremely happy with my hubby.

Maybe I should too.Even though my boyfriend and I have been together for about 6 months now, He asked me out on our first real date for next Sat.! what I mean by that is, it's our first date without my 9 year old! I can't wait!!

My guy does that too...sometimes just us... most of the time all of us.

It's the best when you finally find a guy who includes your child(ren) as a part of you instead of an obligation. Ya know?

Hubby and I didn't go on our first date until 6 weeks after we were married! I know, I do all things bassackward! We only had a 6 week courtship, so really didn't have time to date. I was working 6 days a week 7am to 7pm and he worked nights 5 days a week 10pm to 6am. The only reason we didn't get married sooner was we wanted to at least spend our wedding night together... What can I say?? ROFLMAO!!!

For Gregrr and I, courtship meant spending time together, discussing hopes and dreams, basic beliefs, etc. It also meant that Pirate and Gregrr were able to get to know each other as well.

For us, dating was something where you actually planned something, left the house to do it, and Pirate was not invited! We did have time alone together before we were married, after Pirate went to bed. Since we were at home and I still had complete responsibility for Pirate, it was not the carefree, fun, recreational type of activity that I consider dating.

I have probably confused you even more! I hope not. If I did, I'll try again!

Glad I could help! I would probably not date if something happened to Gregrr. But, I've learned in life to never say never. After my divorce, I swore I would never marry again. LOL! You can see how well that "never" worked out. LOL

brede, It took alot of time after Savannah's dad and I broke up for me to even think about being with someone else. She was 5 before I started getting involved with anyone. He hurt me very badly. Now the man I am with is so wonderful to both of us. I'm not sure where it's going with him but. I'll fill you in after our date.

My ex and I had not lived together for at least 4 years prior to Gregrr and I getting together. Giving yourself time to heal and grieve (even if it was a harmful relationship, it once was your dream of the future) can only be helpful. And even though it had been that long, Gregrr had to deal with both Pirate and I flinching if he made any abrupt move that would involve touching. He was very understanding and patient with both of us.

I am eagerly waiting to hear about your date!!!
Me? Nosey? Nah.........LOL!
