I haven't seen Passion, the only time I get to go to the movies is with the kids, so that leaves that one out. I'm waiting for video so I can watch it after they go to bed.

We saw Jersey Girl with Ben Aflek and Liv Taylor with a very minor part played by JayLo.

It was good. There are some parts that kids probably shouldn't hear...they discuss his sexual habits/porn/masturbating habits at length in one scene of the movie. But apart from that one scene, I give it a thumbs up! We laughed, I cried a few times, was OUTRAGED at one point and in the end smiling and loving it!

I'd tell ya what happens, but that would ruin it...LOL!

We're waiting for the Passion on video too. I won't be letting my 10 year old see it, but I think the rest of us will. We decided it was probably too much to handle on a big screen.

I'm want to see Jersey Girl too. I'm glad to hear you liked it. I really liked Liv Tyler in LOTR and was excited to see her in something like this.

she's the daughter in armageddon too... I think she's awesome! she's got this aura about her.

You will love it..but I might leave the 10 year old at home to see it. That one scene left me cringing cuz my two kids were with me....

I seem to be majoring in gory movies this past week. I saw "In The Cut" and "Murder by Numbers". They were bloody and not so great. Don't bother. Last night I saw "Party Monster". Has anyone seen this one? Addie??

It's based on a true story about the club kids of the 80's. I am always fascinated with a Culkin kid, so I liked that part of it. It's an odd little movie, which is fine with me, but misses in the character development department.

I watched Murder by the Numbers... but only cuz I'm a Sandra Bullock Fan. It was pretty gory... so if you aren't into that... you definately shouldn't see it. We've been on a renting kick lately and just watched "InnerSpace" with Dennis Quade...probably made in the early 80's or so is my guess... it was definately cute...again..the kids loved it.

Hmmm... Mom movies I have seen as of late?? hmmm... I tried to watch Out of Time with Denzel Washington, but couldn't get into it...(I'm told that is just me!) saw The Missing...that was ok... more of a Western than the commercials made it out to be... but it was good.

I haven't seen Passion yet. I am afraid the intensity of the big screen will make it very difficult to watch. I'll watch it at home as soon as I can rent it.

I've been on a Johnny Depp kick. We watched Nick of Time and I thought it was very good. It is an older movie of his so I'm sure it is available to rent.

What's Eating Gilbert Grape is really good too brede. I really really liked him in Pirates of the Carribean. I thought he took the role seriously and did a great job without being over the top. Has anyone seen Once Upon A Time In Mexico? Also, I was really excited to see that he was going to be Willy Wonka in the remake of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. It's due to be released next year some time I think, that could be very cool.

I can't think of a better actor to star in Willy Wonka. "Don Juan DeMarco" is very good. Pirates of the Car. was excellant.

We have Once Upon A Time, but haven't watched it yet. I am having difficulty concentrating because of my new med so it's hard for me to follow a movie. That, too will pass.

hmmm... Lance and Felicia are upstairs watching Jurassic Park III...I'm just not that into those movies...UGH! I didn't like the first one when it was in movie theatres...and I never saw the others till now.

We rented Lady Killers with Tom Hanks....now that was a different sort of movie for him. I didn't care for it much....did anyone else see it???

We haven't been to the movies lately to see anything new...but have been renting now that the olympics are over.

what's new or old that you have seen lately and loved? hated??

We recently watched Monster with Charlize Theron. It was pretty good, but we both felt they left out some things. We lived in the county were she was arrested and it had lots of news coverage. Charlize Theron deserved her Oscar.

ROFLMAO!!!! I think you'll like it Cod. It's completely goofy, and if you've ever seen Night of the Living Dead, or Dawn of the Dead, it's a very clever take off of the entire zombie genre.*

but then... just typing 'zombie genre' cracks me up, so you can see where my sense of humor is at. <g>
