Sharing good news

I'm not entirely sure that this is where I should put this post but here goes.

Good news - The self defense program that my family runs has been asked to team with the local YMCA (St. Peters, MO) and host a free 2 hour workshop. We'll be talking about awareness and empowerment as well as showing some of our self defense techniques.

Great news!! I got a call from one of the news programs (sent out about a bzillion press releases) and they're having me come in the day before the workshop and talk about it on their mid-day program. Will also be demonstrating some of the more simple (less painful) moves on one of the anchor men.

Thanks for letting me brag!!!!

Thumbs up

WTG Fightback2, Congrats! Everyone should learn to defend themselves. Congrats again.

Angel_Wolf Congrats. Great job. Bet you feel a lot better health wise too.
Congrats again.

Hope you or anyone else taking a suppliment like that will get a checkup first. Just to make sure it's ok to take it.
Suppliments aren't for everyone. Especially if you have High blood pressure or any heart related diseases.

LiamFan I love your gif Did you decorate it yourself? ;

Talking I totally Agree!

((((((((IRISH))))))))))
Of course you are right! Yet I had forgotten to mention it. If you have any health related issues and before you start any diet plan or change of eating lifestyle, check in with your doctor. Also if you go to the relacore.com website and request a print out of the ingredients to take to your doctor's appointment. Just write to the webmaster and they'll supply it. Print out a copy and take it to the doctor. Then if you can make sure to check out the myfreediet.com Fill out the questionairre and you go to your menu its only for four weeks but you can repeat it and there are lots of substitutes in the food areas.
Remember before you start anything see your doctor.
Have a great day!

An Update . . . .

The news piece went well - except that thing about the camera adding 10 pounds is a lie. I think it's really more like 50.

Anyway, the workshop was great. The audience was attentive, people asked questions and everyone participated when we got to the hands on stuff. I'm a happy camper. We should get some students for our regular program from it. *crossing fingers*

A few weeks back I sent a letter to the mayor of our fair city asking him to declare April the official Sexual Assault Awareness month. His assistant called me last week and he's going to issue an official proclamation at this Thursday's city council meeting. My husband and I have been invited to witness it. There's going to be press there and everything.

At the end of the month we're going to participate in a wellness festival at one of the local colleges and do some demonstrations there as well.

In May I plan to collapse. All joking aside, my ultimate goal - to get to the point where programs like ours are no longer necessary.

Thanks for all of the support!
